Thompson 1926-2012 William J. Thompson, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 19, 2012, after a short stay at Country Oaks Care Center in Santa Maria, California, in the presence of his loving family.

"Bill" was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 24, 1926. He had one brother, Alan Thompson, of Vista, Long time Arroyo Grande Valley resident Nick Annecchini passed away Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, surrounded by his family, just a month short of his 91st birthday. He was born in Santa Barbara to Nick and Elise (Caldwell) Annecchini, the youngest of four sons and three younger sisters. His first 13 years were spent living along the coast in Gaviota because his father was a section foreman in charge of maintaining the railroad tracks.

Nick and Teri Huitron passed away on February 23. 2012 surrounded by family. Teri was born to Nathan and Darlene Titsworth on March 12, 1962. She had an older brother, Richard, and an older sister, Vicki. She attended Santa Maria High School and soon after married the love of her life Leo Huitron Jr.

Teri and Leo had 2 sons, Jacob and Jason, Teri was an amazing mother and always took the time to do whatever she could for her family and friends. Teri and Leo enjoyed taking their children to football and baseball sporting events roller skating; go cart racing, camping, theme parks and to the beach. Teri also loved to spend time with her grandchildren, Nathan and Adam; she would often take them to Chuck Cheese, Boomers, and to the park. Her grandsons adored her and she will always be remembered to them as "Granny" In addition to being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, Teri was also a hard worker. She got a job as the secretary in the service department at Toyota of Santa Maria and then Iversen Motor Company.

Her most recent job was as a manager of Fed Ex in Santa Maria. She also did the bookkeeping for Kautz Towing in Grover Beach. In her spare time, Teri enjoyed volunteering to help those in need. She often volunteered at the Salvation Army along with her mother Dee to feed the homeless. She also liked to spend her time playing and caring for her dogs.

Teri has left behind husband Leo Huitron sons Jacob and Jason, mother Darlene Titsworth, grandsons Nathan and Adam, brother Richard Brown, sister Vicki Cabatuan, and many nieces and nephews. Teri also has a large extended family including the Titsworth and Huitron families. She is preceded in death by her father Nathan Titsworth. A memorial service in her honor will be held at the St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church in Santa Maria on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Arrangements are under the direction of Dudley -Hoffman Mortuary, Crematory Memory Gardens.

His father was transferred to Oceano in 1935, where Nick then attended Arroyo Grande High School. Later, he started to work in the vegetable container business, a position held until he actually retired at age 88. He met the love of his life, Dolly Benitez, in Oceano and they married in 1941 in Portland, Ore.

Nick served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946, with duty in Europe. Following the War, he returned to south San Luis Obispo County, with his wife and son. The young family, now with two boys, moved to Arroyo Grande in 1950, where he and Dolly have resided ever since. In addition to have worked at Ag Box, he was in a partnership of the 3M Real Estate (3M was Mom, Mario and Me).

As a veteran, Nick was active with the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Pismo Beach, as commander at various times, until the post closed. He was also a member of the Arroyo Grande American Legion, and a charter member of both the Italian Catholic Federation at St. Patrick's Church and Elks of Oceano. For the past nine years, Dolly and Nick were close to and assisted by Delfina Zerate, who, without her assistance, would not have had the quality of life she provided. We, Nick's family, will always be grateful that she was a faithful, loving friend.

Nick is survived by his three sisters Margaret Rodriguez, Mary Smith and Georgina Silva (Louis); sons Dan (Joanne) and Mario; Dan and Joanne's children Kendall Martin (Brian), Nichole Sexton (Brian) and Dominic Annecchini (Melanie); great-grandchildren Ethan Martin, and Owen and Ella Sexton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Daniel, Angelo and John; and wife, Dolly, who passed three years ago, just before their 68th anniversary. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel, 1239 Longbranch in Grover Beach. The recitation of the rosary will follow at 7 p.m.

at St. Patrick's Church, 501 Fair Oaks in Arroyo Grande. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012, also at St. Patrick's Church.

Interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Santa Barbara. Marshall-Spoo 489-5552 Grover Beach i California. He moved to California in 1936 at the age of 10. Bill attended John H.

Francis Polytechnic in Los Angeles, California and graduated in 1944. He served with the United States Army during WWII, and was honorably discharged in 1946 after being awarded Purple Heart for wounds received at Okinawa. He also had a 32 -year career with the United States Postal Service, where he attained the position of Postal Supervisor. In 1947 Bill met and married Joanna Hilburn. Together they had three daughters, Cynthia, Cheryl, and Caren whom they raised in Newhall, California.

He and his growing family took many trips to the mountains, beaches, and toured most of the California Missions. Bill and Joanna cherished their time together. They loved going camping, playing cards, Bingo, and ballroom dancing and enjoyed the many road trips to visit their children, grandchildren, family and friends. After his retirement from the Postal Service, he volunteered his time with the Santa Clarita Senior Center and the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, as well as giving of his time to many other charitable projects. Bill was a long-standing member of the Lions Club in Newhall and Santa Maria.

He went on to work another 12 years for the Castaic R.V. Park, and finally retired completely in 1999. In April 2000, Bill and Joanna moved to Santa Maria, California, where they were welcomed and embraced by the love and fellowship of the Orcutt Presbyterian Church. He continued his volunteer work at the Luis Oasis Senior Center, Meals on Wheels, and the Orcutt Presbyterian Brown Bag Program providing food to people in need. Bill is survived by Joanna, his devoted wife of 64 years, his daughters, and their families: daughter Cynthia and husband Thomas Shubert; granddaughter Erin and husband Alex Ramirez, great-grandsons Thomas and Samuel; grandson Ethan Shubert; daughter Cheryl and husband Gary Mangus; granddaughter Tisha Escoto and partner Steve Holiday, great grandchildren Nicole and Benjamin and step -great grandchildren Brad, Ashlee, Brittany and Stephen; grandson Geoffery Mangus and wife Amber and great grandchildren Eric and Jordan; grandson Jaret Mangus and partner Tamara; Daughter Caren and wife Jenny and step- grandchildren Aisha, Kariman and Layth.

Bill was a wonderful man who was respected by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Bill's family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and extend a personal thanks to Country Oaks Care Center and their staff for the love and consideration they gave to Bill and his family members, making this beloved man comfortable and treating him with dignity. A celebration of Bill's life will take place at 11:00 am on Friday March 30, 2012 at The Orcutt Presbyterian Church. Soares Ave. both in Orcutt, Ca. 93455. JohnBlasik October 27, 1956 February 25, 2012 John Blasik passed away February 25, 2012. He was born in Cleveland, OH, moved to Goleta in 1963 and graduated from Dos Pueblos High School.

He worked at various restaurants including Heidi's Pies, China Castle and China Panda. He worked at the Lompoc Elks Lodge for twelve years where he was also a member for eleven years. John learned guitar in his youth and music played a big part in his life. He was a sought-after guitarist and enjoyed Antoinette Raygoza Antoinette Raygoza was born April 1st, 1991 in Santa Maria, CA to Emma Garcia and Anthony Raygoza. She grew up in Yuma, Arizona where she attended Otando Elementary School.

She enjoyed going to the lake, four wheeling in the desert and playing with her Rottweiler dogs. When she was 13 she Del Marshall Covington JH returned to Santa Maria where she (J WBT attended Tommie Kunst Jr. High and playing many styles including rock, funk, country and jazz. John played in several bands through the years in Santa Barbara and Lompoc and for special events including Relay For Life and Lompoc Flower Festival. John was an avid football and NASCAR fan and loyal to the Cleveland Browns.

He touched many lives through his music and his spirit and will be dearly missed. John is survived by his wife Panadda of Lompoc; son Jonathan Blasik of England; brother Michael Blasik and his wife LaVerne of Coarsegold, CA; brother Mark Blasik of Lompoc; aunt Lilian Krawczonek of North Royalton, OH; uncle Daniel Reiman of North Royalton, OH and many, many friends. John was preceded in death by his parents who were married 50 years: John S. Blasik Sr. (April 4, 2002) and Alice G.

She graduated from Lompoc High School Class of 2009 earning her High Del Marshall Covington, 60, was born in Santa Barbara, California on March 22, 1951 and departed this life at his home in Los Angeles on February 28, 2012. Del attended local elementary schools and graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1969 and Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo. He worked for Dino's Liquor Deli in Santa Maria for almost 20 years and was a pharmacy technician at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Los Angeles for the last 15 years. School Diploma.

Antoinette enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, buying the newest "Jordans" and baking. She was currently employed by the company Genesis, serving adults with disabilities in the Santa Maria Community. Antoinette was attending Allan Hancock College in hopes of becoming a probation officer. She was so full of life and she always made the room so much brighter with her smile. She is survived by parents, sisters Erica Garcia and Jazzy Salinas, Brothers Dario and Anythony Raygoza, Stepfather Ricardo Salinas and stepsisters Angelique, Crystal and Adrianna Salinas, her grandparents, Eddie and Maxine Garcia, Uncles, Eddie and Jack Garcia, Aunts, Ginger and Marlene Garcia and numerous Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

Bartholomew John H. Bartholomew 81, of Keller, TX, passed away February 29, 2012. John was born on March 2, 1930 to Ralph and Lucille Bartholomew of Los Alamos, CA, whom have preceded him in death. John was raised in Los Alamos, graduated from Santa Maria High School. John is the father of son Michael Bartholomew and wife Judi, and daughter Tamara Bartholomew.

He was preceded in death by his son John H. Bartholomew, Jr. John married the love of his life, Carol, Del met and married the love of his life, Susan Strawn of Sunnyvale, California. Del served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Jason as a Quartermaster in the western pacific.

He loved a good game of golf and Beatles music, as well as quality time spent visiting family in Santa Maria and leisure outings to San Luis Obispo. Del is survived by his brother Dana Covington and his wife Lori, sister Marcia Stoskopf and her husband Randall, niece Michelle Covington and nephew Justin Stoskopf. He is preceded in death by his wife Susan in 1992, his parents, James and Gwendolyn Covington and his grandparents, Chester and Hope Wright. In celebration of Del's life, the family will receive friends and acquaintances for a Celebration of Life at the Foxenwoods Tennis and Swim Club, 1087 Clubhouse Drive in Orcutt at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 10, 2012. John retired from Barnes Aerospace in Ogden, Utah where he loved his work as a mechanical engineer.

John and Carol moved to Texas in 2009 to be closer to their family. He enjoyed working in his yard with Carol and cooking up Santa Maria Style BBQfor his Texas family. A memorial service will be held on March 5, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., at the Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, 137 East Hill Street Keller, TX 76248 (817)-753-68 00. Last year Paul S. Hogan, 62, passed away on February 28, 2011 at his home in Pahrump, NV from complications of COPD.

Born in Oklahoma City, OK on August 10, 1948. He was a resident of Santa Maria, CA until moving to Nevada in 2009. He was a Veteran of the US Army, worked for the Gas Company, was a Construction Lather for many years and an Apartment Management. He loved telling jokes, reading, writing poetry and songs and playing his guitar. He is survived by his son Rocky Hogan For information on placing an obituary, of Grover Beach, CA; daughters Kristi Hogan-Echelmeier (son-in-law Chris) of Ladera Ranch, CA, Emily Hogan and Anna Maclaren (son-in-law Mike) of Ventura, CA; sister Sherry Harrison (brother-in-law Mike) of Pahrump, NV; brother Rick Hogan (sister in law Terry) of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren Katy, Brandon and Athena; seven nieces and nephews and his pet Companion Shorty.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Imogene Hogan. He will be dearly missed and will always be in our hearts tall.
