South Family Karen White 925.2691 Julie Hill-Quaresma marry in seaside service SHELL BEACH An archway overlooking the ocean at Shell Beach was the scene of the late afternoon double ring weeding on March 6 uniting in marriage Julie Hill, and Neal Quaresma, both of Arroyo Grande. Judge Barry Hammer conducted the service. The bride, given in marriage by her step-father, is the daughter of Darcy and Mary Schermerhorn of Arroyo Grande and Howard Hill of Prescott, Ariz. The bridegroom is the son of Bill and Gerrie Quaresma of Arroyo Grande. The new Mrs.

Quaresma wore a floor-length gown of white lace with a fitted bodice, long sleeves and a high, keyhole neckline for the service. A shoulder ruffle of lace ended in a vee in front and back. She carried a cascade of carnations and stephanotis. In her hair were baby's breath florets under a veil borrowed from the couple's friend, Sandy Mankins. Mm.

and Mrs. Keith Pricer of Orcutt have announced the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Terri Lynne, to Harry Roberts Drake, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Drake of Anaheim.

The bride-elect was graduated from Silver Creek High School, San Jose, with the class of 1978 and will graduate this June from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, majoring in business and accounting. The bridegroom-elect was graduated with the class of 1976 from Eisenhower High School in Rialto, San Bernardino Valley College with the class of 1978 and Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo with the class of 1981 with a degree in architectural. He is employed by Dan Rowland and Associates, Anaheim, as an architectural draftsman. An Aug. 7 wedding is planned in the San Luis Obispo United Methodist Church.

Lori Treet of Arroyo Grande, a friend, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carol Roberts, Lisa Trett, Delynne Shelton and Susan Hall, all of Arroyo Grande. Jamie Hill, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Quaresma chose a friend, Mario Sanchez of Arroyo Grande, as best man. His attendants were Mark Quaresma, his brother; Ralph Hill, the bride's brother, both of Arroyo Grande; Russ Hatley of Bakersfield and Bobby Dobbyn of Hacienda Heights.

Matthew Peterson, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer. A barbecued chicken dinner held at the Arroyo Grande Association Hall followed the ceremony. The newlyweds cut a four-tiered wedding cake baked and decorated by his sister, Terry Peterson. They both attended schools in Arroyo Grande and both were graduated from Lopez High School. The couple will make a first home in Bakersfield where he is employed by Cal-Pacific on an oil drilling rig.

Mr. and Mrs. Hank Neiggemann of Santa Maria have announced the engagement and planned marriage of their daughter, Nansi Ann, of Santa Barbara, to Thomas E. Vos, Escondido, the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Edwart T. Vos. A Sept. 25 wedding is planned at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in Orcutt.

The bride-elect was graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1971 and attended the Univ. of Calif. Santa Barbara where she obtained a certificate of legal assistanceship. She is employed by Archbald and Spray in Santa Barbara as a legal assistant.

The prospective bridegroom, after serving in the U.S. Navy, graduated from Cal Poly State University, Pomona, with a bachelor of science degree in engineering and is currently employed by the San Diego Division of Hewlett-Packard as the manager of engineering. Trophies from and Contractors for the oldest and youngest rider went to JoAnn Rowbery and Gina Guerrero. Steve Clayton and Raphael Smith collected plaques donated by Mid-State Bank and a gift certificate from the Santa Maria Club for the most miles ridden. Other prize winners were Betty Segui and Mark Ricca. Hank Guerrero was honored for signing up the most new riders. The Bike Barn furnished a hamburger barbecue at the end of the ride for all participants.
