Private inurnment will follow at a later date. Mr. Krogh was born in Hadsund, Denmark and had been a resident of Santa Maria for the past eight months. moving here from Torr ance. He was employed as an electrician by Sears.

Santa Robert L. Odell SANTA BARBARA Private memorial services will be held in Santa Maria for Robert L. Odell, 61, a resident of Santa Maria, who died Saturday, May 4. in a Santa Barbara hospital after a brief illness. Burial was in the Taft Westside District Cemetery.

Mr. Odell was born in Taft and attended Taft public schools and Fullerton College. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War Il. He was employed with Arco Oil and Gas Co. for 41 years.

retiring in 1984. and was a life member of the Petroleum Club. Survivors include his widow, Beth Marie Odell. Santa Maria; daughters. Karen S.

For more than 25 years he owned and operated Lucas General Store in Nipomo. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Nipomo: a life member of Knights of Columbus, Council No. 2475; a 50 year member of Santa Maria Elks Lodge. No.

1538: a charter member of the Santa Maria post Veterans of Foreign Wars: and a charter member of the Nipomo Men's Club. He served tor 12 years on the Nipomo School Board, including service as president of the board: he also served as a director of the Nipomo Community Water Board; and served with the U.S. Army during World War I. He was instrumental In building St. Patrick's Catholic School in Arroyo Grande and St.

Joseph's Catholic Church in Nipomo. He was former station master with the Pacific Coast Railway. Nipomo: and former chief of the Nipomo Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid cowboy for many of the San Luis Obispo County ranches. Survivors include his wife of 65 vears.

Private inurnment will follow at a later in the Santa Maria Cemetery. -Mr. Billington was born in Long Beach and had been a resident of Santa Maria since 1918. He was a 1923 graduate of Santa Maria High School. and was a CIF basketball and track star.

He began working in the oil fields at 19 years of age and 40 years was associated with 3 Rice Ranch Oil last serving as Superintendent and president of the company until his retirement. He was an active member in the Oreutt and Santa Maria communities, serving on the Orcutt. Santa Maria Police round-up 1' Saul Rubalcava Valenzuela, 20, -Santa Maria, sustained minor injuries to his face after four suspects robbed him of his watch early Saturday morning at the parking lot of the 7-Eleven store, 804 W. -Cook St. Valenzuela was treated at Medical Center and released.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight when zuela was returning to his vehicle from the store. He told police he was jumped and knocked to the ground and kicked several times. Investigation of the robbery continues. A moped, license number 9V9712, was reported stolen Friday while parked in the 2800 block of Maria Way.
