Santa Maria, Times, Tuesdav. November 10, 1981--7 Quaresma nuptials said at Arroyo Grande hall Beneath an archway flanked by tall baskets of ivory pampas grass and flowers, Tina Roe of Santa Maria and Mark Quaresma of Arroyo Grande were married in a double ring ceremony officiated by Judge Barry Hammer in the Arroyo Grande Association Hall. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, is. the daughter of Norma Hansen, and Thurman and Maria Roe, all of Santa Maria. She wore a floor length dress of ivory batiste with a fitted bodice, long sleeves, and a sweetheart neckline trimmed with seed pearls.

The pearl pendant she wore was a gift from the bridegroom. The bridal bouquet was a crescent shape with a single yellow rose in the center surrounded by miniature yellow carnations and silk lily-of-thevalley. In her hair, she wore a wreath of yellow roses and baby's breath. Lisa Roe of Santa Maria, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a pale yellow floral floor length dress with long sleeves and a sweetheart neckline.

Her bouquet was a starlight colonial of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Quaresma Kings wed in Suey canyon In the rustic outdoor setting of Suey Creek Canyon, Sharie Eileen Foss and Roy Wayne King exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 10. The couple honeymooned at Lake Tahoe. The bride graduated from Righetti High School and attended Hancock College, earning an A.S.

degree in clerical science. She also attended Biola College and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. The bridegroom graduated from Santa Maria High and earned a B.S. degree in political science from UCLA and a masters in education from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He is currently employed at Hancock College.

His friend, Willie Nelson of Arroyo Grande, acted as usher. All three wore brown plaid vest made by the bridegroom's godmother, Nellie Gularte. Mark's, boutonniere was a yellow rose identical to the one in his bride's bouquet.

Neal and Willie wore yellow carnation boutonnieres. Organist was Louise Nicols, a long-time friend of the groom's family. She played "Somewhere My Love" a as processional for the attendants and the traditional wedding march for the bride's entrance. The bride's mother wore a brown street length dress. Her stepmother wore a multicolored floral print street length dress, and the bridegroom's mother wore a blue floral print street length dress.

All wore white carnation corsages. A barbecued chicken dinner, prepared by some of the groom's relatives, followed the ceremony. Mark and Tina cut and shared a slice of the lovely five-tier wedding cake, baked and decorated by Mark's sister, Terry Peterson. Special guests were the bride's grandmothers, Agnes Houston and Velma Roe, both of Santa Maria. Both were presented with a white carnation corsage.

Among other out of town guests were the brideformerly of Hawaii and both just out of the groom'ssister and brother-in-law, Wade and Tina Navy. The bride attended schools in Santa Maria. The bridegroom draduated from Arroyo Grande High School in 1974. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1975-77, and was stationed in Japan for a year.

He is employed on an oil drilling rig in Bakersfield. The couple will make their home in Arroyo Grande.
