It was under the direction of Mrs. Dorothy Smith and Mrs. Kencho Ontiveros, during the absence of Miss Irene Fagin, county home demonstration agent. The topic was Safety in the Home. In the latter part of the afternoon, refreshments were served.

Among those attending were Mesdames Sadie Stevenson, Dorothy Smith, Lee Ontiveros, Annie Elliott, Hazel Walters, Hilda Smith, Ruth Michael, Irene Michael, Ruth Man-kins, Beulah Fischer, Eunice Davis, Amanda Brickey, Maude Harding, Belle Leale, Pearl Ballard, Barbara Sumners and Goldie Turk. ORCUTT Mrs. George Deleis segues entertained the members of the Newlove Thimble club yesterday afternoon with the president, Mrs. Wm. Lentz, in charge of the short business meeting.

The birthday cake was white with pink decorations and topped with a small angel and one pink candle. The children attending spent the aft- ernoon playing games which were followed by refreshments.

Erma Jane Ontiveros, Johnnie Biscarro, Leanore Carranza, Betty Santos, Harold Carranza, Clay Brown, Alex Ontiveros and Ramona Ontiveros picnicked in Tepusquet.
